DESIGN APPROACH
For Dr. Anwar and Dr. Shamima, the design brief was clear — create a home that embodied luxury with a minimalistic touch. The challenge lay in finding balance: a space that felt ornate yet not overdone, traditional yet modern, elegant yet simple.
The design concept was a true fusion of styles. Dr. Anwar’s preference leaned toward traditional influences, while Dr. Shamima favored softer pastel tones and minimal details. Together, their vision shaped an interior that merged tradition, luxury, and minimalism into a cohesive aesthetic.
The bedrooms reflect this harmony. The son’s room was kept simple and functional, defined by shades of blue and gray. The daughter, an architecture student, wanted something more expressive yet refined.
Her room featured a four-poster metal canopy bed with neutral layered textures and a thoughtfully designed walk-in dressing room seamlessly connected to the bathroom — a blend of creativity and elegance.
In the living and dining spaces, luxury meets restraint. Paneling introduced a quiet sophistication, while the TV cabinetry in light blue added serenity to the space. Traditional elements were brought in through the center table and partition designs, grounding the home in cultural identity without overwhelming its modern character.
The outcome is a home that reflects the personalities of both clients — ornate yet minimal, traditional yet pastel — a balanced expression of luxury designed to feel timeless, personal, and effortlessly refined.
