DESIGN APPROACH
Dr. George and Dr. Tanya, along with their two young children, approached us with a brief that combined playfulness with Mediterranean elegance. Their request was simple yet meaningful — a cute, cozy kids’ bedroom for their little ones, and a home that reflected the warmth of Mediterranean design through soothing palettes, natural materials, and thoughtful details.
The living room was styled with soft hues of pink, blue, and neutrals, creating an atmosphere of calm and comfort. Cabinetry was crafted from white brick units finished with PU paint, giving the space both durability and charm. A dedicated library corner and reading nook were introduced to reflect the family’s love of books, making this a space where stories and memories naturally unfold.
In the dining and kitchen areas, the Mediterranean aesthetic shines through in every detail.
A chevron-pattern backsplash adds vibrancy to the kitchen, while the hidden mirror cabinetry cleverly conceals the maid’s room — a smart feature that blends seamlessly into the layout without disturbing the design flow.
The bedrooms carry forward the Mediterranean palette of blue, white, and wood tones. The master bedroom is anchored by a canopy bed and Mediterranean-inspired floor tiles, offering both comfort and character. The guest bedroom carries the same aesthetic in a lighter, welcoming tone. The kids’ bedroom, meanwhile, was designed as a joyful, playful retreat, tailored to the energy and imagination of two growing children.
The result is a home that feels cozy, warm, and deeply personal — a harmonious blend of Mediterranean charm and practical family living, designed with love and layered with detail.
